Hello, I'm Stephanie. Since my earliest memories, I've harbored a deep love for the outdoors. Raised in a small town in Ohio, I was fortunate to have parents who prioritized travel.

From a young age, my family embarked on numerous journeys across the states. Whether it was to our secluded cabin in Lake Wenatchee, Washington, or the charming town of Holland, Michigan, for beach adventures, the thrill of exploration became ingrained in me. Despite this passion, attending college in Kentucky posed a challenge in living the life I truly desired. I felt this huge emptiness, realizing that a really important part of who I am was just not there.

Moving forward, I successfully graduated college with a Bachelor's Degree in Integrated Strategic Communications and a minor in Criminology. With a determined heart, I fulfilled my goal of relocating to Colorado immediately after graduation. I vividly recall my first night in the state; the excitement of independence mixed with the quiet loneliness of my bare apartment’s towering walls.

As I acclimated to solo living, I realized the need to seize the opportunities this vibrant state offered. My primary purpose in moving here was to indulge my passion for hiking. This page is my way of extending a helping hand to individuals like myself, encouraging them to step out of their comfort zones and embark on solo hiking adventures. Throughout my time in Colorado, I've explored numerous breathtaking trails, and through this platform, I aim to share my genuine experiences.
